I've seen to been stricken by bad luck.
I wrote about the internet, but that's nothing in comparison to my new adventure. A broken foot! WOOOOOOO. I was taking out the trash last night, and my hands were full so I couldn't flick on the light. I misjudged the last stair and slipped on it, then landed sideways on my right foot. And it's broken. It took me about 20 minutes to walk on crutches to the coffee shop right near my house. It's usually a 5 minute walk. And I'm drenched in sweat because crutches are a fucking work out. This place is filled with cute women right now. Fuck my life.
I have no idea how I'm going to get to school. That's usually a 15-20 minute walk. On crutches it'll probably be an hour. And I'll have to bring a change of clothes.
This should be a fun six to eight weeks...
PITY ME.

Jacoby...read all your new posts and you've had a rough start but hang in there lil fella ;-) That was my standard big sis comment. I know you're going to be fine and I'm always going to be jealous of you for actually moving to NYC. Still can't believe you did it. I love all the pictures of your place and of your neighborhood. I love the pic of Jayden on the train. So freakin cute. He's a little punk, isn't he? Have you considered taking up photography as a hobby (maybe a future career???)? You're pretty darn tootin' good at snappin the ol' cameraroo!! Ya like that verbiage...it's to go along with all those old novels you've been reading ;-) Alright, enough blabbing. I can't wait to see you in a few weeks. I hope schools going OK for ya and perhaps the job search has begun as well. Call me whenever you have free minutes and fill me in on everything. Make sure you bring me a big NY style cheesecake when you come down ;-P Just jokin'! We have cheesecake in NC too, believe it or not!! It's at the grocery store right next to the pork rinds...mmmmm
